Photographs and video from telescopes and various space missions seem to show anomalies on the Moon that hint at a presence there not explained by the Apollo missions or exploratory probes. Some people believe there may be secret bases there. In the early 1970s, remote viewer Ingo Swann said he detected "an unearthly extraterrestrial presence" on the far side of the Moon.
